Lada Koprivova, RSMT BCST

I journeyed into the field of psychotherapy through my interest in in the nature of human experiencing, suffering and healing. My love of movement and my curiosity in the intelligence present within all nature, including our living bodies, influenced my choice to become a body-oriented therapist.

My personal as well as therapeutic practice has been greatly influenced by meditative practices, such as Authentic movement, mindfullness, insight meditation, qigong and biodynamic cranial work, which gave me an understanding that it is a direct embodied experience that allows us to meet with our authentic selves and connect deeply and lovingly with the others.

I currently offer private one to one sessions in somatic movement therapy and craniosacral therapy for people of all ages and I facilitate experiential somatic movement workshops for small groups of adults. My clinical experience includes work with children, parents and toddlers, adults with physical and mental health conditions, adults with learning disabilities and women from minority ethnic backgrounds.

My work as a therapist and group facilitator is weaved around a keen interest in the relational dimension of our human experience and the possibility to cultivate more conscious and compassionate relationships with our selves, others and the wider environment.
